Turbulence System

What is turbulence?

  • Flow stream is the continuous movement of a fluid (liquid or gas) starting with one place to the next place to the next.
  • Two types of flow are laminar flow and turbulent flow.
  • Laminar flow is a ‘Straightforward’ flow.
  • Turbulent flow is a ‘complicated’ flow.
  • In a laminar flow every particles in the fluid move very easily in a same direction at a same speed.
  • In a turbulent flow every particle in a fluid moves in different directions and at different speeds.

How is turbulence generated?

  • How easily a fluid becomes turbulent depends to large extend on its viscosity.
  • Viscosity is the opposition of a fluid (a liquid or a gas) to movement
  • The more viscous a liquid is, less it is to become turbulent.
  • Hence, Water or air which has a low viscosity can become easily turbulent relative to honey or syrup, which is very viscous, tend not to become turbulent.

ow Tathastu’s TVS Works?

In TVS water conditioner the turbulence in hard water is created by a specially molded turbulence structure. When this turbulence structure comes in between laminar flow of hard water it creates the turbulence in water due to which the molecules of hard water elements get break down and their negative effect in water gets eliminated.
